I am a parent and former educator who has realized that the most important thing we can do is to guide others to take better care of our Earth. After over a decade as a public school teacher, I returned to my roots to help guide people to learn HOW to grow food, be more sustainable and, most of all, love every minute of it.
After growing up on a working farm in Michigan, I moved to Florida where I feel in love with our warm climate and subtropical plants. Most of my work focuses on urban agriculture and sustainable urban landscapes.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Permaculture Design Certification, and am nearly finished with the Foundations Courses with Dr. Elaine Ingham's Soil Foodweb School.
