One of the principles of permaculture is to "obtain a yield". If you can successfully make several plants from one parent plant, then you are able to reduce your cost while increasing the number of plants that you're growing. This course will teach you how to propagate plants from cuttings and give you several plant suggestions that are easy to grow.

Hi, I’m Amanda

I am a parent and former educator who has realized that the most important thing we can do is to guide others to take better care of our Earth. After over a decade as a public school teacher, I returned to my roots to help guide people to learn HOW to grow food, be more sustainable and, most of all, love every minute of it.

After growing up on a working farm in Michigan, I moved to Florida where I feel in love with our warm climate and subtropical plants. Most of my work focuses on urban agriculture and sustainable urban landscapes.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Permaculture Design Certification, and am nearly finished with the Foundations Courses with Dr. Elaine Ingham's Soil Foodweb School.

This course is closed for enrollment.
